Apr 15, 2024

March was a bustling month for NZAero, highlighted by our active participation in community engagement and aviation heritage event. We're proud to share these moments that showcase our commitment and contributions to the field of aviation.

Engineering for Educators: A Day with WECA

In a collaboration with the Waikato Engineering Careers Association (WECA), we were thrilled to welcome over 40 educators and engineers from almost 20 schools across the region for an "Engineering for Educators" day. This unique event offered educators a behind-the-scenes look at our manufacturing facility, providing valuable insights into the exciting world of aeronautical engineering.

Our team was energized by the opportunity to connect with teachers and educators, sharing our passion for engineering and discussing the myriad of career opportunities available in the aviation sector. It was a day of learning, inspiration, and collaboration, aimed at fostering a new generation of innovative engineers and thinkers.

"We believe that by bridging the gap between the classroom and the industry, we can inspire students to pursue careers in engineering, contributing to a vibrant future for New Zealand's aviation industry," shared Stephen Burrows, CEO of NZAero.

Warbirds Over Wanaka: Showcasing NZAero’s Legacy and Innovation

March also saw us taking part in the prestigious Warbirds Over Wanaka International Airshow, where aviation enthusiasts from around the globe gather to celebrate the past, present, and future of aviation. NZAero proudly displayed our latest marvel, the SuperPac 750XL-II, marking our place as a leader in aircraft innovation and manufacturing in New Zealand.

Participating in the Warbirds Over Wanaka Airshow allowed us to pay homage to New Zealand’s aviation heritage while showcasing the advanced technology of our SuperPac 750XL-II. Our presence underscored NZAero’s commitment to excellence and innovation echoing the event's mission to educate through the celebration of aviation.
