PRIME MINISTER JOHN KEY VISITS PACIFIC AEROSPACE

068_Aviation_Cluster_25Feb09.jpgOn the 25th of February 2009, Prime Minister John Key visited Pacific Aerospace to learn more about the strength of the regions aircraft manufacturers and aviation industry service providers.

Mr Key was greeted by many of The Waikato Aviation Cluster's 30 members, representing aviation services, aircraft maintenance, pilot training, flight operators and supply chain providers.

083_Aviation_Cluster_25Feb09.jpgOn show were Pacific Aerospace's P-750 XSTOL, Fletcher and CT/4E, along with presentations from other members of the Cluster such as CTC Aviation, Metal Tech Engineering Ltd and Micro Aviation Ltd.

Mr Key toured Pacific Aerospace's facilities and said he was "super impressed" by the cluster's achievements.
